Any cool bar you recommend? The Standard, one of my American friends said. On top of The Standard Hotel, there is a rooftop bar where you can enjoy the drinks, the vibes, and the night view of downtown LA. It’s a little bit hard to imagine right? Let’s see the pictures together and you will know how COOL this rooftop bar is!
What you’ll Find in the Lobby
Once you enter The Standard Hotel, you will see the large lobby/lounge. On the way to the rooftop, there is the fanciest table tennis table that caught your eyes. (You can actually play!) It is really hard to see a table tennis table be painted like that in Asia. That is one of the reasons I like LA because ART is everywhere.🎨
Before going to the rooftop, there is something that I really wanna show you. On the other side on the 1st floor, you’ll see an organ with the dazzling light above. Also, a classic red phone in the corner. Isn’t it special to see these classic items in one of the most prosperous cities? Speaking of the light, no matter the space is light or dark, the light still looks shining and fascinating.
In addition, you’ll find a wall with a couple of cute classic phones. Don’t know if it’s just the decoration or it can really make a phone call(it seems possible), but at least it is a good photo spot.☎️
Since we are going to a bar, it’s our job to make ourselves as pretty as possible, right?💁♀️ I wore the floral print ruffle mini dress, stocking, and a lilac color coat. (Tips: Always bring a jacket or coat when you have a night out, you never know how cold it can be at night🥶, especially on the rooftop.) I’ve been wearing this lilac coat for years, still one of my favorites. Having a lilac color coat can make you stand out from the crowd because most people would like to wear basic colors such as black, navy, camel, beige, cream, etc. So why don’t you have one to be special?😄
The Standard Rooftop Bar
The standard rooftop bar which opens 12 PM-2 AM is a not too large and not so small place. But it is definitely fun enough for you to spend all night here! (Tips: NEVER forget to bring your ID if you don’t want to kill the mood.😉) Being surrounded by the skyscrapers, having a drink, and being cozy around the fireplace, enjoying the night view of downtown LA…nothing can make you happier than this moment. (Maybe you will have a chance to meet someone new.🤩)
One of my favorite things about this rooftop bar is that there is a shining swimming pool! I love the contrast between the blue water and the dark sky.🌃 And I believe this place will look totally different in the daytime but still awesome. Now I think it’s your turn to experience the rooftop bar in downtown LA. Let me give you a tip: Don’t think too much, just enjoy!
